St Paul's is one of the premier English Medium schools of the Belgaum district. Its humble beginnings can be traced back to 1856 when it was a small school attached to the Church of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The School being one of the many works of charity which included a home for the lepers and the poor, it soon came to be known as St. Vincent de Paul School. Today it is known as St Paul's High School.
