The humble beginnings of the Rosary Hostel, Ajra go back to the 1970s. With the beginning of Rosary English High School in 1967, Fr Job D’Silva had arranged for the study and stay of some students in the Parish House of the Rosary Church. As the number of students increased, there was a felt need for a boarding. It was Swami Prabhudhar SJ who undertook the construction of the Rosary Hostel. The Rosary Hostel belongs to the Rosary Trust and is managed by the Jesuits of the Goa Province.
